Expressive Type

Expressive type is a project that focuses on combining two forms of print media. The book was designed to explore the expressive nature of typography. To be consistent with the expressive nature of the project, the cover was created using 3D filament and fabrication techniques to create a sturdy cover that also emphasizes the content within.

In order to create the cover, I learned digital fabrication techniques and worked with 3D filament to create a unique book cover that was able to express type just as much as the content.
