Forbidden Fruit

Forbidden Fruit is a comprehensive book that focuses on exploring the history, characteristics, and allergen profiles of each fruit and the family they are associated with. To increase visual engagement, each fruit is illustrated to help readers envision its inside and outside characteristics. The purpose of this project is to raise awareness of fruit allergens by serving as an educational resource for both readers and authors.
Mission
I really wanted to capture the vibrant colors and textures of each fruit as a visual guide while learning about the historical significance and allergens. I incorporated my hand-drawn illustrations that were drawn using acrylic pens to create each fruit.
