Old Wey, New Way
This project is focused on revisiting and completing past assignments from the curriculum and turning them into a printed format for easier viewing and sharing with a large group. The goal is not to overwrite the original work, but to reimagine the work with current technology and techniques. By integrating modern tools and techniques in design, the project still appreciates the older design, while also adding a fresh perspective.
Some Insights
While working with 3 other classmates, we researched projects from the past 50 years in the graphic design program at Appalachian State University.
Our goal was to reinterpret projects from each era and expand on the projects by incorporating modern-day technology. These pieces were then presented at the program's exhibition as cards for over 100 alumni.
